On Tuesday March 13, nearly 20 years after Larry Kramer gave his historic speech calling for a direct action group to fight the AIDS Crisis, he calls for a renewed effort to fight both AIDS and homophobia. Go to queer-justice-league.org for the text version of the speech Following the speech the 200 member audience stayed for a meeting to plan an action to protest the comments of General Pace who said that gays are immoral. Democracy NOW! Reported that hundreds came to protest at the Time Square military recruitment center at noon last Thursday, March 14th.
