I got this from a VHS bootleg copy of the Japanese laserdisc release of "Megazone 23, Part II". It's the alternate ending that Harmony Gold had gotten Tatsunoko to animate for "Robotech: The Movie: The Untold Story". It's done in the "Megazone 23, Part I" style. It was thrown in as a bonus for the Japanese fans. Tatsunoko likely didn't have permission to use the Robotech audio, so there's an instrumental piece dubbed in instead. What's odd is there's English narration giving the Megazone 23 story, even though this alternate footage has to do with Robotech. Since the main feature ("Megazone 23, Part II") was dubbed into English for a Japanese-only release to teach English to Japanese students, there are Japanese subtitles that translate the English into Japanese.
