Pokey really loves himself. That's why he had a number of Pokey-bots created - robots in his boyish likeness. They're not really tough, but when they explode it hurts a bit. If you're not careful you can get your ass handed to you, regardless of level. There are 7 Pokey-bots in all, and most of this fight is simple combo action, occasional healing.
